Which Diamond Color to Choose?

Many factors can determine what is the right choice in color.  The rule of thumb for white gold or platinum settings is to choose a color that doesn’t appear yellowish next to the white metal.  Typically we suggest “I” color or better for white metals, though we always recommend placing the diamond in a white setting in multiple lighting conditions to see the contrast.  Remember though it might not bother you she will be wearing the diamond 7 days a week and showing it off to all of your close friends.  Your community or culture can also determine the right color for you.  Many cultures believe the purity of the diamond relates to the purity of the relationship.  I’ve found that the right decision here really pays off in her estimation of you and what you truly think of her.
